What access do you need to my Google Business Profile?
Manager access, never ownership. You stay the owner of your profile at all times and can remove our access whenever you like. We will never ask you to transfer ownership, and you should be wary of anyone who does.
How long until I see something?
Months, not weeks. The first changes to your listing go in straight away, but local search ranking moves slowly and unevenly. You will see the first proper picture at your first quarterly grid re-scan, and a clearer one after two.
What if I already rank well?
Then you probably rank well from one spot. Ranking changes street by street, so a business sitting first outside its own door is often well down the list a couple of miles away, where most of its town is searching from. The free scan shows you which you are before you spend anything.
Do I need a website for this to work?
No. Your Google Business Profile is its own listing and can rank, take calls and get direction requests without a website behind it. A good website helps, but this service is about the profile.
Is this the same as Google Ads?
No. Google Ads is paid placement. You stop paying and it disappears the same day. This is Google Business Profile management: the ongoing work that improves where your listing appears in the map results without paying for the position. There is no ad spend in the £97.
Can I cancel?
Any time. It is rolling monthly with no contract and no notice period. Tell us and the next payment does not happen.
What happens if I stop?
Your listing stays as it is, but it stops moving forward. Reviews stop being asked for and answered, nothing new gets posted, and competitors who keep going will pass you. It will not vanish overnight. It will slide gradually.
